Vivian Maier was a street photographer in Chicago during the 1950s-1990s. Boxes of her stored negatives were sold at an auction that led to her discovery. Over 100,000 negatives and many undeveloped were found in a separate storage facility. She worked in mostly medium format. I love her style and ability to create an atmosphere unique to the time.  Vivian was very precise and skilled with her composition. I admired her photography ever since I watched a news segment on her. John Maloof is currently posting the negatives he scans on this blog. http://vivianmaier.blogspot.com/
